some of you with large screens may be able to notice some posterization in the shadows on his face, just noticed it myself, weeks after queueing this shot

Mysterious. This is a nice shot. Explain what posterization in the shadows means? I'm still learning DrAWic
Dr A. W!: posterization is demonstrated here (http://www.answers.com/posterization?cat=technology&gwp=13)
even though on looking at this again i'm not sure that was the exact cause
DrAW, this is an awesome shot. Fantastic lighting, composition, everything actually. His expression and eyes are wonderful. I love it a likey for me.
Groom before the wedding??? LOL
Dr A. W!: thanks much aussie

Wow, this is an intense shot.
Dr A. W!: thanks jessie
I didn't even notice the posterization until you pointed it out. this must be the trait of a perfectionist
Dr A. W!: thanks ade

Wow!
Thats just brilliant!
Dr A. W!: thanks nadine
Excellent portrait full of tension and mystery. I can't see any posterisation and my screen is pretty big. In fact I can't see any detail in the shadows on his face.
ingrid
Dr A. W!: thanks ingrid

Film noir without a doubt ... so many positives with this image

Dr A. W!: thanks tim,
posterization is explained here (http://www.answers.com/posterization?cat=technology&gwp=13) though it can occur when using some conversion techniques in pp for instance blacks can be bunched up together in an undetailed manner
