safety

i cannot imagine anyone in his right mind trying to mess with this girl

i bet God wishes we'd remember to feel this safe in his arms...or legs in this case :D

i expect some will complain of distractions in the pic...
but as usual, i don't call them distractions, i call them information :)

You can call them whatever you want, doc, but the truth is each one of them takes away a little bit from this powerful portrait.
Scroll down a bit to almost a square, till you don't see the man's hands, till you don't see the background wall. See how power returns to the image?
Do I sound like I complain? smile
DrAW!: of course you complain sir...
you just asked me to lop off a man's hands tongue
Great shot Doc, i say keep the distractions in they add to the story behind the shot, nice one !!!!
DrAW!: thanks jimmy smile

Given the look on her face, the 'distractions' tell a story of " I put them there, so what!"

Nicely captured.
DrAW!: lol
thanks brian smile

A shot to cherish, beautiful. I did scroll as per VZ, and I have to agree with him and it does ofset the childs head nicely, but I think the bottle and toys are essential "information"
DrAW!: thanks padraig
not only the bottle and toys though...i think the father's hand language is also vital
vz's square crop would lose that
