Good composition with the focus on the shoes. I like these 'preparation for the wedding' shots better than the actual ceremony ones!
Ingrid

This is very lovely! Even though you can only see a slight profile of the bride, you can still see her excitement.

Interesting pics from all kinds of angles. Not your usual wedding type pictures.

I have a son got married a couple of months ago. It was beautiful etc, but what remains is how much effort goes into a one hour ceremony and thereafter all the paraphernalia is stripped for the party.

But then I am not a girl. I cook a good meal in 40 minutes and my wife plans all day, then use a million pots, pans, serviettes, etc. Fortunately the result is very palatable - only I have to do the dishes many a time :-(
DrAW!: lol!

You have such a way of picking moments in frames which many of us wouldn't perhaps notice, let alone capture.

Sometimes the minute details are far more interesting and captivating than the perceived obvious ones, and your work proves that.

Highly innovative and beautifully presented smile
DrAW!: i'm highly flattered floog
thanks much
Glad am posting this just after Floog's comments, as it really sums up my view regarding some of ur post.
Nice one Dr. well captured smile

This is a nice informal wedding scene that I find much more interesting than the posed shots one usually sees. My only question is shouldn't the focus be on the shoes?
DrAW!: you're right

though i feel it's still ok cos despite the lack of dedicated lens focus on the shoes, other elements in the composition point to the shoe, examples are the all the hands and the percieved direction of the bride's eyes
Nice shoes, this must be a real joy, shooting weddings that is, happy bride and groom, willing models everywhere...., happy days, oh and not to forget good light for most of the year.

liking it.
DrAW!: yeah it's fun but it can be haaaard stressful work too wink
